In addition to her direct clinical work, she also value community engagement and take pride in raising awareness around mental health, reducing stigma, and making services more accessible to diverse populations. Ana Simões is the Clinic Manager and Billing Specialist at Altha Mental Health, bringing more than 15 years of solid experience in administrative work and financial management within health, wellness, and self-esteem–focused service environments. Her background includes structuring operations in customer-service settings, where she developed strong skills in organization, leadership, operational precision, and process management — essential competencies that now strengthen the clinic’s administrative excellence.
A Production Engineering student at PUC Minas, Ana integrates technical knowledge in continuous improvement, standardization, and process control into the daily routine of Altha Mental Health, contributing to a more efficient, organized, and predictable operation.
As manager, Ana coordinates administrative workflows, trains teams, implements routines, strengthens operational standards, and ensures that each step is carried out with ethics, clarity, and responsibility. In billing, she applies technical rigor to the analysis, validation, and processing of claims, reducing errors, increasing financial predictability, and ensuring precise communication with insurance carriers and providers.
